In this ongoing project, I work with my personal archive, searching for a way to activate it again through its interaction with the present. Photographs from two different cities, Athens and Antwerp, in two different periods of time (then/now), are torn apart, re-assembled and re-photographed against my window. The sky occupies the background functioning as the common denominator in this event, where memories and frozen moments collide and merge with each other. The final outcome, while referencing both states of past and present, points to a new hybrid visual landscape where they can co-exist.
